Warning methods

With the vehicle on, select on the instrument cluster or Settings > Vehicle > Driver assistance > Warning methods in the infotainment system to select following:

  • Parking safety priority: Your vehicle lowers all other audio volumes when Surround View Monitor is operating.

  • If you change the Warning methods, the Warning methods of other Driver Assistance systems may change.

  • Warning methods will maintain its last setting even if the vehicle is restarted.

  • The setting menu may not be available for your vehicle depending on the vehicle features and specifications.

Camera settings

You can change Surround View Monitor "Display contents" by touching the setup icon (Ĵ) on the screen while Surround View Monitor is operating, or by selecting Settings > Vehicle > Driver assistance > Parking safety > Camera settings in the infotainment system while the vehicle is on.

You can adjust the brightness(day/night) of the camera screen and its contrast.

Surround view monitor auto On

With the vehicle on, select Settings > Vehicle > Driver assistance > Parking safety > Surround view monitor auto On in the infotainment system to use the function.

Auto PDW (Parking Distance Warning)

When the Auto PDW (Parking Distance Warning) is selected, parking distance warning appears on the top view of the Surround View Monitor screen.

Display setting

Adjust the brightness(day/night) of the camera screen and its contrast.

  • The horizontal guideline of the Rear Top View Parking Guidance shows the distance of 0.5 m (20 in.), 2 m (79 in.) from the vehicle.

  • The horizontal guideline shows the distance of 0.5 m (20 in.), 1 m (40 in.) and 2.3 m (91 in.).

  • The setting menu may not be available for your vehicle depending on the vehicle features and specifications.
