License plate light (bulb type)

  1. Remove the lens gently by using a flat-blade screwdriver.

  2. Remove the socket from the lamp assembly by turning it counterclockwise.

  3. Press the connector clip and pull the connector from the socket.

  4. Insert a a new bulb and reinstall the lamp assembly in the reverse order.

License plate light (LED type)

If the LED light does not operate, we recommend that you have the system inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

The LED light cannot be replaced as a single unit. A skilled technician should check or repair the LED light, for it may damage related parts of the vehicle.
