Blade Replacement
When the wipers no longer clean adequately, the blades may be worn or cracked, and require replacement.
To prevent damage:

Never use non-specified wiper blades.

Lift the wiper arms when in the top wiping position.

Always return the wiper arms to the windshield before driving.

Within 20 seconds of turning off the vehicle, push down and hold the wiper lever to the MIST position for about 2 seconds until the wipers move to the top wipe position.
At this time you can lift the wipers off the windshield.
Type A

Lift up the wiper blade clip. Then lift up the wiper blade.

While pushing the lock (1), pull down the wiper blade (2).

Remove the wiper blade from the wiper arm.

Install a new wiper blade assembly in the reverse order of removal.

Return the wiper arm on the windshield.
Type B
-
Lift the wipers off the windscreen.

Lift up the wiper blade clip (1). Then pull down the wiper blade (2) and remove the wiper blade from the wiper arm (3).

Install a new wiper blade assembly (1). Then push the blade forward through the wiper arm (2) and close the wiper blade clip (3).

Gently put down the wiper back onto the windshield.

With the Start/Stop button in the ON position, turn the wiper switch to any ON position to return the wipers to the bottom resting position.

Raise the wiper arm and then rotate the wiper blade assembly (1).

Pull out the wiper blade assembly (2).

Install the new blade assembly by inserting the center part into the slot in the wiper arm until it clicks into place (3).

If the replacement is complete, put down the wiper arm onto the rear windshield, and turn the vehicle ON and operate the wipers to check the blade is installed correctly.
