Rear Cross-Traffic Safety

With the engine on, select Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Parking Safety > Rear-Cross Traffic Safety in the infotainment system to turn on Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist and deselect to turn off the function.

When the vehicle is restarted, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist always turn on. However, if 'Off' is selected after the vehicle is restarted, the driver should always be aware of the surroundings and drive safely.

When the vehicle and the trailer are connected electrically, a warning message appears on the instrument cluster, and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist is deactivated. The function resumes after the trailer connector is disconnected. (When using HYUNDAI genuine parts)
