Normal maintenance schedule

The following maintenance services must be performed to ensure good emission control and performance. Keep receipts for all vehicle emission services to protect your warranty. Where both mileage and time are shown, the frequency of service is determined by whichever occurs first.

Engine coolant

At first, replace at 120,000 mi. (200,000 km) or 120 months.

After that, replace every 24,000 mi. (40,000 km) or 24 months

The drive belt should be replaced when cracks occur or tension is reduced excessively.

Requires <API SN PLUS (or above) Full synthetic> grade engine oil. If a lower grade engine oil (mineral type, semi-synthetic, lower grade spec, etc.) is used, replace the engine oil and engine oil filter as indicated in maintenance under severe usage conditions.

As it is normal for engine oil to be consumed during driving, the amount of engine oil should be checked regularly.

If TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline is not available, one bottle of additive is recommended. Additives are available from your authorized HYUNDAI dealer along with information on how to use them. Do not mix other additives.

Never add any additives to the engine oil. Engine oil additives can change the properties of engine oil and may cause serious engine failure.
